Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how PrimeApi ("PrimeApi", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses, shares and protects information in connection with the website primeapi.co and the PrimeApi API service (together, the "Service"). PrimeApi is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to TikTok or ByteDance Ltd.

1. Information we collect

We collect only the information needed to operate and secure the Service:

• Account data: your name, email address, password, the IP address used at registration, and the registration date.
• Usage and API logs: for each API request we record the request URI, your IP address, any error message, and a timestamp.
• Billing data: the billing address you provide for invoices.
• Cookies and session data: a PHP session cookie used for authentication, and analytics cookies (see Section 9).
• Analytics data: aggregated usage statistics collected via Google Analytics (measurement ID G-SCJMQHTB52).

Payment data: we do not accept card payments, so no payment card details are ever collected, processed or stored by us. Credits are purchased in cryptocurrency: you are redirected to our payment processor Cryptomus to complete the payment, and we receive back only the order reference, the amount and the payment status (see Section 4).

TikTok data returned by the API: the Service retrieves publicly available data from TikTok and returns it to you in response to your requests. We do not control the content of that source data and do not treat it as personal data we have collected about you.

2. How we use information

We use the information described above to:

• create and administer your account and authenticate you;
• provide, maintain and improve the Service;
• meter credit usage and enforce rate limits;
• process payments and issue invoices;
• send transactional messages such as account verification and password resets;
• detect, prevent and investigate abuse, fraud and security incidents;
• comply with legal obligations.

3. Legal basis for processing

Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, we rely on: performance of a contract (to provide the Service you sign up for); legitimate interests (to secure, maintain and improve the Service and prevent abuse); consent (for non-essential cookies and analytics); and legal obligation (for accounting and compliance). Where Turkish data protection law (KVKK) applies, we process personal data on the corresponding lawful grounds, including the necessity to perform a contract and our legitimate interests, and with explicit consent where required.

4. Third parties and data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers that help us run the Service:

• Google Analytics — website usage analytics.
• Cryptomus — cryptocurrency payment processing. When you buy credits you are redirected to Cryptomus to complete the payment; we receive only the order reference, amount and payment status. We never see or store your wallet credentials.
• Email delivery — transactional email is sent via Gmail SMTP.
• TikTok — the upstream public data source queried on your behalf when you call the API.

We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect the rights, safety and security of PrimeApi, our users or the public.

5. Data retention

We keep account data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. Usage and API logs, billing records and order history are retained for as long as necessary for security, accounting and legal compliance, after which they are deleted or anonymized. You may request deletion of your account as described in Section 7.

6. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse or alteration. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security; you are responsible for keeping your account credentials and API key confidential.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, update, delete or export your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise these rights, contact primeapico@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

8. International data transfers

PrimeApi and its service providers may process and store data in countries other than the one in which you reside, including outside the European Economic Area or Turkey. Where we transfer personal data across borders, we take steps to ensure an appropriate level of protection consistent with applicable law, such as relying on adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses where required.

9. Cookies

We use a PHP session cookie that is strictly necessary to keep you signed in. We also use Google Analytics cookies to understand how the website is used. You can control or block cookies through your browser settings; disabling strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the Service from working.

10. Children

The Service is not directed to children and is intended for users who are at least 18 years old or the age of majority in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
